Input Parameters for Airborne Brake Wear Emission Simulations: A Comprehensive Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Non-exhaust emissions, generated by the wear of brake systems, tires, roads, clutches, and road resuspension, are responsible for a large part airborne pollutants in urban areas. Brake accounts 55% non-exhaust emissions significantly contributes to health diseases related air pollution. A major studies reported scientific literature focused on experimental methods sample characterize particles reliable, representative, repeatable way. In this framework, simulation is an important tool, which makes it possible give interpretations results, formulate new testing approaches, predict emission produced brakes. The present comprehensive review aims introduce state art research different aspects debris resulting from systems can be used as inputs future models. review, previous focusing investigated three main categories: subsystem level, system environmental level. As well all information provided literature, methodologies also at levels. It concluded study that various factors, such uncertainty repeatability experiments, distinguish results This gap should taken into account development investigation emissions.

Brake wear particle emissions: a review
Traffic-related sources have been recognized as a significant contributor of particulate matter particularly within major cities. Exhaust and non-exhaust traffic-related sources are estimated to contribute almost equally to traffic-related PM10 emissions. Non-exhaust particles can be generated either from non-exhaust sources such as brake, tyre, clutch and road surface wear or already exist in ...
متن کاملTailpipe, resuspended road dust, and brake-wear emission factors from on-road vehicles
Intensive mass and chemical measurements were performed at roadside locations in Reno, Nevada, and Durham/ Research Triangle Park), North Carolina to derive tailpipe, resuspended road dust, and brake-wear emission factors from in-use vehicles. Continuous particulate matter (PM) data were utilized to derive total emission factors while integrated PM data were used to attribute the calculated emi...

متن کاملECG Parameters for Malignant Ventricular Arrhythmias: A Comprehensive Review
Many studies showed electrocardiogram (ECG) parameters are useful for predicting fatal ventricular arrhythmias (VAs). However, the studies have several shortcomings. Firstly, all studies lack of effective way to present behavior of various ECG parameters prior to the occurrence of the VAs. Secondly, they also lack of discussion on how to consider the parameters as abnormal. Thirdly, the reports...
